The dual-needle design of the Shore meter allows the second needle to stay above the last measured value, making it easier to read on the analog display.
Examples of some materials measured by this Shore D hardness tester include: hard rubber, glass, hard resin, acrylic, hard plastic, and thermoplastics.
The advantage of the Shore meter being dual-needle is that the second needle remains above the last measured value during readings, making it easier to read.
It is shipped safely to you in a protective plastic case.
It has easy usability and a durable design.
The back dial color is white.
Optionally, you can attach it to a stand (sold separately) for measurements.
You can measure the hardness of the very hard materials mentioned above with our LX-D Shore D device.
The LX-D Hardness Tester is also known as shore meter, shormeter, or shore metre.
HOW TO MEASURE?
In this Shore meter, measurement is performed by pressing the device onto a specific material with a certain force, and it manually shows the indentation depth on the material as a Shore value, just like other similar devices.
This depth varies depending on the hardness, properties, and structure of the material.
This is reflected in the measurement result.
