Offering high accuracy with a ± %1 precision rate, the device is used safely in production processes and quality control stages.
PCE-MFM 2400 Gaussmeter Features
Purpose of Use : Used to measure the intensity of existing magnetic fields and to test the performance of components such as relays, permanent magnets.
Precision : Provides high precision at ± %1 rate.
Usage Area : Used in areas such as motor production factories to check whether magnetic components work within tolerance. This increases quality and reliability and prevents potential failures.
Measurement Method : Measurement is done by keeping the transverse Hall sensor perpendicular to the magnetic flux vector.
Magnetic Field Type : Suitable for measuring static magnetic fields (DC).
Screen Feature : Thanks to the backlit screen, measurement values can be read clearly even in low light conditions.
Automatic Shutdown : The device automatically shuts down if no operation is performed for 5 minutes. This feature provides battery savings and extends the life of the device.
Usage Areas : In addition to industrial applications, it is also used in laboratory studies, magnetic field research, and medical technologies.
Delivery Scope : 1 x PCE-MFM 2400 Gaussmeter, 1 x Transverse Hall Sensor, 1 x 9 V Block Battery, 1 x Carrying Case, 1 x User Manual
PCE-MFM 2400 Gaussmeter Usage
1. Preparation Stage
Press the power button to turn on the device and wait for the screen to become active. Carefully insert the Hall sensor into the device's input connector.
2. Operation
• Zero Point Adjustment
The device must be zeroed before each measurement. The sensor tip should be kept in an open environment, free from magnetic or electromagnetic interference. If the display does not show 0.0 mT / Gs, press the “ZERO” button to zero the device. After proper zeroing, the display should show a value of 0.0 mT / G.
• Measurement
Allow the sensor to reach ambient temperature before measurement. Remove the cover and place the sensor at the center of the magnetic field. The sensor should be held perpendicular to the magnetic flux vector. Wait until the value stabilizes. If the “Range Exceeded” warning is seen on the screen, it indicates that this value exceeds the device's measurement capacity.
