Komo 2004 Fidibus Medium Flour Mill

Why fresh grinding?
Why grind our own flour? Of course, buying from the market can often be cheaper, but the flavor and health benefits provided by freshly ground flour are incomparable to other products in the market. Freshly ground flour offers an aromatic and highly nutritious taste experience, whereas industrial flours available in stores are often more sterile and lack nutritional value.
Whole grains, when ground, contain all the nutrients as a whole. It is quite difficult to find these nutrients in industrial flours.
The essential oils and nutrients released during the grinding process enhance the aroma and flavor of the flour. You can compare this situation to the difference between freshly ground coffee and instant coffee. The quality of freshly ground flour can also be exemplified by the difference between a sliced and left (thus oxidized and nutrient-lost) apple and a freshly bitten apple.
As food products are broken down, they come into contact with oxygen and spoil rapidly. Therefore, unground whole seeds can be stored for much longer without spoiling.
With KoMo mills, you can finely grind all grains, legumes, spices, small oil-free seeds, and even coffee beans.
The grinding process keeps essential nutrients like magnesium, iron, B vitamins, and valuable plant proteins within the flour.
Why not use the natural and nutritious foods your body needs in fresh form? Once you experience the difference of freshly ground flour, it will be hard to go back.

The superiority of Komo in stone milling:
Since 1985, Komo has been producing handmade products in Austria and exporting to 65 countries. Komo's unique manufacturing process combines quality and social responsibility, adding love and care to each product.

Durable Grinding Stones
The grinding stones of Komo stone mills are made from Corundum Ceramic material. These special stones are self-sharpening and extremely durable materials. This material, discovered in 1985, is now standard in all Komo mills. These stones, made from Ceramic and Aluminum Oxide, require no maintenance, have a self-sharpening feature, and machines with stones unchanged for 30 years are still in use in the market. If a wrong product (for example, oily seeds) enters the hopper, there's no need to worry; you can restore the stones by grinding rice at a coarse setting.

Long-lasting and Durable Designs
All Komo products are designed and manufactured to work smoothly for many years. All raw materials used are sourced from the strongest and most sustainable materials available. To ensure quality assurance continuity, 100% of production is done in Austria.

Easy and Practical Use
Using Komo machines is extremely simple. You can start your machine with just one button, and adjust the grinding thickness by turning the hopper left or right. For cleaning, you can easily access the grinding stones by turning the hopper two turns towards the coarse setting without using any tools. For the finest setting, turn the hopper towards the fine (fein) direction until you hear the sound of the stones rubbing against each other. Then, turn it towards the coarse (grob) direction until the grinding sound stops. Yes! You’ve found the finest setting!

Elegant and Durable Design
In addition to the internal mechanism, we also pay attention to the external appearance of Komos. Durability is valid for the materials used on the outside as well as the internal mechanism. Solid woods used in local furniture making, if worn over time, can be sanded and oiled to regain a brand new appearance.

Robust and Reliable Packaging
After our products are manufactured with great dedication, they need to reach your kitchen solidly as well. We ensure protection against damage during shipping by using special components that are resistant to all kinds of impact and damage. You can be assured that your orders will arrive at your home without any issues.
