Measurements can be taken with an infrared (IR) sensor in the range of -40°C to +280°C and with a stainless steel probe in the range of -40°C to +200°C.
• High Sensitivity and Fast Response Time:
The infrared sensor of the device provides a measurement in as little as 500 milliseconds. The RTD type Pt100 probe offers high sensitivity up to ±0.5°C.
• Countdown Feature:
The device is equipped with a countdown timer up to 9 hours 59 minutes 59 seconds. It gives an audible alarm when the timer reaches zero. This feature allows monitoring of temperature over a specific period in HACCP applications.
• LED Warning System:
Warning lights illuminate based on the temperature condition during measurement:
– Green LED: Lights up if the temperature is <4°C or >60°C.
– Red LED: Lights up if the temperature is between 4°C–60°C (indicates a dangerous temperature range).
• Contactless and Contact Measurement Capability:
– Infrared sensor: Measures surface temperature without contact.
– RTD Pt100 probe: Accurately measures the temperature of liquid and semi-solid samples with direct contact.
