There are 3 different categories within wood itself (W1, W2, W3), and there are 4 different categories within construction materials (B1, B2, B3, B4).
The device also has a test mode. Test mode is accessed by pressing the Mode button twice. Tests are conducted by touching the electrodes to the circular holes located at the back of the device's cover.
The moisture value of the material you measure can be followed from the screen both numerically and from an increasing-decreasing scale (graphical display).
There are indicators for Dry, Moist, and Wet.
It is quite simple to take measurements. Select whether wood or concrete will be measured from the "Mode" button. Then, touch the electrodes to the material to be measured and observe the result that appears on the screen.
The value that appears on the screen can be reset with the "CLR" button.
The device has an On/Off button.
The CEM DT 125H moisture meter has a blue backlight display to facilitate ease of use in dark environments.
The screen backlight of the device turns off 10 seconds after the last measurement. The automatic full shutdown time is 3 minutes.
The outer structure of the device is coated with medium-hard rubber for a soft grip and protection against impacts.
