General Description:

• The HF 500 digital dynamometer is a precision force measurement device that can measure up to 500 Newtons (50 kg), connect to a computer via RS232, and store measured values.

Key Features:

• Measurement Capacity: 500 Newtons (50 kilograms) for both push and pull force.

• Recording Function: Can store measurement data both in its internal memory (capacity of 447 records) and on a computer.

• Connection: Can be connected to a computer via RS232. Data transfer and printing in Excel format are possible.

• Usage Areas: Tension tests, compression tests, switch tests, connector insertion/pulling, breakage tests, effective push/pull tests.

Device Buttons and Functions:

• UNIT Button: Allows measurement in Newton, kilograms, or pounds (lbs).

• PEAK Button: Locks the peak force value reached during measurement on the screen.

• ROTATE Button: Allows you to change the display orientation.

• CHECK Button: Displays recorded measurement values and allows switching between settings.

• SET Button: Enables detailed settings.

• ON/OFF Button: Turns the device on/off manually. The device will also shut down automatically after 10 minutes of inactivity.

Computer Connection:

• Connects to the computer using an RS232 cable. If the computer does not have an RS232 port, an RS232-USB converter must be used (available optionally).

• Run the "Force.exe" software from the "MulForce_EN" folder on the setup CD.

• Connection steps:

  1. Connect and turn on the device.

  2. Launch the software.

  3. Navigate to "SET" > "Connect Style" > "OK".

  4. Go to the "Control" tab and click "Connect".

  5. Live data can be monitored via "Angular display".

Recording Process:

1. Run the "Force.exe" software.

2. Start a new test via "SET" > "New Test" > "TestItem".

3. In the "Chart Display" section, click "START" to begin and "STOP" to end recording.

4. Each record is saved in a separate row.

5. Row numbers are displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.

Reporting:

1. Open the software and select the desired table via "Report" > "Data Query" > "Select Test Item".

2. Check "Channel 1".

3. Sort data with "Data Query".

4. View chart with "Show Chart".

5. Export the chart via "Export Chart", and export data to Excel via "Export Data".

Excel Data Formatting (if needed):

1. Select all values in column "A".

2. Right-click and choose "Format Cells" > "Date" > Select "14.3" format.

3. Align data to the left.
