The Testo 477 handheld stroboscope with LED display is used when fast-moving objects need to be seen in slow motion. The results allow for the interpretation of rotational and vibration movements.
With the help of stroboscopes, rotating production systems and belts can be viewed in slow motion. Thus, product and production quality can be evaluated. For example, in the textile industry, the thread guides in knitting machines or the image quality in printing machines can be monitored.
The device has a wide measurement range. The Testo 477 device can measure up to 300,000 flashes per minute (fpm).
The 477 handheld stroboscope visualizes rotational and vibration movements. It allows for measurement during ongoing operation.
Testo 477 can perform speed/rotation measurements in areas where there are very small objects or where direct access is difficult.
The Testo 477 stroboscope does not require reflective tapes, so the process does not need to be stopped.
Flashing light analysis helps detect irregularities in systems and machines. For example, detecting "vibration hotspots," monitoring packaging machines, controlling vibrating conveyor technology, or visualizing oscillation amplitude can be mentioned.
A static image allows for the examination and qualitative evaluation of components moving at high frequencies.
Thanks to the trigger input and output, the Testo 477 can be connected to different external systems and controlled with an external sensor.
