The Testo 883 thermal camera offers an IR resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. With the built-in SuperResolution technology, this image quality can be enhanced to 640 x 480 pixels.
With Testo SiteRecognition technology, you can intelligently archive the images you measure.
Another feature, Testo Scale Assist, automatically adjusts the thermal image contrast scale.
The Testo 883 thermal camera is equipped with an IFOV warning function. It prevents errors due to object size during measurement and displays the measurable dimensions.
Using the Testo IRSoft program, you can quickly and easily compile measurement reports, configure camera settings, and access many other features.
With the Testo 883 thermal camera, you can connect wirelessly to your smartphone via WLAN.
You can download the Testo thermography app for Android or iOS to connect your thermal camera to your phone or tablet.
By connecting the thermal camera to your phone or tablet, you can record online and use the device as a second screen or remote control.
The built-in digital camera and laser pointer create a real image alongside the thermal image.
You can wirelessly transfer measurement data to the thermal camera using the optionally available Testo 770-3 clamp meter and Testo 605i thermo-hygrometer.
A carrying case provided with the Testo 883 thermal camera makes it easy to transport the device.
Testo SuperResolution Technology
IR resolution 320 x 240 pixels (640 x 480 pixels with SuperResolution), manual focus, and excellent NETD value of 40 mK ensure the best image quality. This allows you to reliably detect thermal anomalies in installations and buildings.
What is Testo SiteRecognition Technology?
Testo SiteRecognition technology is a system for intelligently archiving thermal images. Thermal images are automatically assigned to the correct measurement object based on QR codes, barcodes, or Data Matrix codes at the measurement location. The images are first stored in the device's memory, and later transferred to the specified folder via USB when connected to a computer.
Benefits of Testo SiteRecognition Technology
Previously, complex lists or voice notes were needed to assign thermal images correctly. With Testo’s SiteRecognition system, these problems are eliminated! This technology ensures fully automated area recognition in addition to storing and managing thermal images. Since manual assignment is no longer necessary, you save time.
Testo Scale Assist: Automatic Contrast Adjustment
It offers automatic contrast adjustment for objectively comparable thermal images and easier detection of weak points.
A typical challenge in building thermography is that thermal images of the same object can appear different depending on indoor and outdoor temperatures. With Testo Scale Assist, once the ambient temperatures are entered, the scale is automatically optimized.
Benefits:
Objectively comparable thermal images
Optimal contrast
Unimportant or distracting elements are automatically dimmed, preventing misinterpretation and only showing actual structural defects.
Testo Thermography App
With the app, your smartphone or tablet becomes a second screen and remote control for your thermal camera. You can quickly create, send, or save reports on-site.
