Designed with a concave principle. The bottom area of the dripper actually increases instead of slowing down the brewing, making the water flow smoother and the extraction more uniform.
There are 3 levels in the design
Layer A-Sealing: With the filter paper completely adhering to the flat top part of the dripper, it does not allow water to pass through the gaps
Layer B-Brewing: The place where the brewing process should occur
Layer C-Coffee Bed: The ground coffee will fill the bottom area with less obstruction and more channels to promote water flow, thus reducing the likelihood of over-extraction.
