Optimum Moisture Measurement Range: The best results are obtained at temperatures between 16°C and 32°C.
In the Wile Rice 200 device, there are two different measurement options for some rice types that have the same appearance. These options are determined according to the freshness and drying condition of the product:
Wet (Fresh) Product Option:
If the product is fresh and not yet dried, the more moist option is selected.
Example: White Jasmine >14 (Moisture range 13%-24%)
Dry (Dried) Product Option:
If the product is dried and has low moisture, the dry product option is preferred.
Example: White Jasmine <17 (Moisture range 6%-17%)
Overlap Situation in Measurement Range:
It is difficult to decide which option to use for products in the range of 13%-17%. In this case, based on experience;
If the product is fresh and there is a high possibility of moisture, the >14 option,
If it is certain that the moisture amount is below 15-16%, the <17 option should be preferred.
