• Easy to use, handheld portable measurement device.

• pH can be measured with the externally connected HI1230 probe, temperature with the HI7662 probe, and ORP (mV) with the optionally purchasable HI3131B probe.

• The device is specifically designed for use in aquariums, seawater, wastewater measurements, and fish farms.

• Due to its wide range of uses, it is also preferred in greenhouse cultivation, agriculture, and various liquid measurements.

• Measurement results can be easily viewed thanks to its large and readable LCD screen.

• Frequent calibration is required for high accuracy. Calibration should be done whenever the pH electrode is replaced, once a month, immediately after measuring with harsh chemical liquids, and before any measurement requiring precision.

• Manual calibration can be performed with one or two points using the "CAL" button on the front panel.

• Measurements of pH, ORP (mV), and temperature can be displayed sequentially using the "pH", "mV", and "TEMP" buttons.

• Temperature compensation is automatically performed with the ATC (automatic temperature compensation) feature on the device.

• When the HI1230 probe is not in use, the protective cap should be closed to prevent damage, and the potassium chloride protective solution inside the cap should always be full.

• The device package comes with a manufacturer's test certificate.

Hanna HI 1230B pH Probe Features

• Spherical Bulb: Suitable for general-purpose use. Other tip types are conical for penetration and flat for surface measurement.

• PEI Body: The body is made of polyetherimide (PEI) resin. Durable and suitable for use in various applications. The protection around the spherical glass bulb minimizes breakage from impact or dropping. PEI plastic is resistant to many aggressive chemicals.

• Double Junction Reference: The reference wire of the electrode is located in the internal compartment surrounded by Ag/AgCl reference electrolyte containing silver ions. The external compartment contains no silver ions. This design prevents silver from transferring from the electrode to the sample and provides reliable measurements in applications where silver ions are undesirable.

• BNC Connector: Easily connects to any pH meter with a universal BNC connector.
