In frequency analysis, switching between A and C characteristics can be done with a single button.
A characteristic: Measures the sound frequency perceived by the human ear.
C characteristic: Covers low-frequency sounds.
Complies with IEC 61672-1 Class 2 and ANSI S1.4 Type 2 standards.
Can store approximately 31,000 measurement records in its memory.
Recorded measurement values can be viewed on the device without a computer using the "RECALL" button.
Measurement records that can be controlled on a computer with the "REC" button and on the device with the "MEM" button are taken.
Fast (125 ms) and slow (1 sec) response modes can be switched using the FAST/SLOW button.
Can be connected to a computer with a USB cable for data transfer and device control.
Has a low battery indicator, visually alerting the user when the battery is about to run out.
Thanks to the illuminated wide LCD screen, measurement results can be easily read even in dark environments.
With the Max/Min feature, the highest and lowest sound values measured can be displayed.
The device can be easily calibrated with the calibration screw on the side using the screwdriver included in the box.
The box includes 1 Testo 816-1 device, 4 AA batteries, a carrying case, wind protection, a PC software CD, a USB cable, a calibration screwdriver, a user manual CD, and a spare connector.
