• The Wile 27 hay and straw moisture meter is used to measure the moisture content of dried hay bales, grain straw bales (wheat and barley), partially dried hay bales, and silage.
• You can determine the dry matter content of the bale by subtracting the measured moisture percentage from 100.
  For example, if the device measures 30% moisture, the dry matter content is 70%.
• To measure moisture, simply insert the 47.5 cm probe into the stack and read the value on the digital display.
