The Hanna HI 98100 pH meter device features a replaceable probe. In the event of future probe malfunctions or failures, you can continue your processes by installing a new probe.
To conserve battery life, the device has two different automatic shut-off functions at 8 and 60 minutes. This feature can be optionally disabled.
Hanna HI 98100 measurement results are displayed on a large LCD screen that shows a stability indicator, low battery indicator, and calibration tags.
An hourglass indicator is displayed on the screen until a stable measurement value is obtained. Once the measurement value is stabilized, the indicator disappears from the screen.
The device can be calibrated automatically at one or two points. The device automatically recognizes the calibration buffers and displays the buffer values used as a tag on the screen after calibration.
To ensure the long life of pH device probes, the probes are protected with potassium chloride solution contained within the probe caps.
If the potassium chloride solution inside the probe cap runs out, you need to refill it. This way, you can extend the life of the probe even further.
The Hanna HI 98100 pH meter device has an extraordinary long battery life of approximately 1000 hours. When the battery power is low, a low battery indicator is displayed on the LCD screen.

How to Adjust Automatic Shut-off Time?
To adjust the automatic shut-off time on the device, press and hold the button while the device is on.
After the CAL indicator, the screen will display d08, d60, d-- (off).
In this section, you can switch between values with the button.
After selecting your desired shut-off time, you can confirm the automatic shut-off time by pressing and holding the button.
