• Hanna HI8424 digital pH meter, is a portable measuring device that is widely used in many areas, especially aquariums, seawater analyses, water treatment plants, wastewater measurements, and fish farms.

• The biggest advantage of this model is its ability to measure within the range of -2.00 to 16.00 pH and its ±0.01 pH accuracy.

• The HI1230B pH electrode with a high-quality plastic body that comes with the device allows it to be used in greenhouses, field applications, and various liquid measurements.

• The HI1230B probe, with its durable structure suitable for field uses, can be used safely in outdoor environments.

• The device allows you to easily view measurement values thanks to its large and readable LCD display.

• For accurate measurement results, the device must be calibrated regularly. Calibration should be performed when the pH electrode is replaced, once a month, after measurements made with harsh chemical liquids, and before each measurement requiring high precision.

• The “CAL” button on the device allows easy adjustment with one or two-point calibration.

• “RANGE” button enables quick switching between pH, mV (ORP), and temperature measurements.

• If the temperature probe is not attached, the user can manually enter the temperature value using the directional buttons in the MTC (manual temperature compensation) section.

• When the temperature probe is connected, the temperature value is automatically read from the probe.

• If the °C or °F symbols are flashing on the LCD screen, it indicates that the temperature probe is not attached.

• The ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation) feature automatically balances measurement errors caused by temperature changes.

• When the HI1230B probe is not in use, the protective cap should be kept closed and should always contain potassium chloride storage solution. Otherwise, the probe may be damaged.

• With the “CFM SETUP” button on it, you can adjust the auto-off time (20 minutes or off), key sound (on/off), and temperature unit (°C / °F).

• A manufacturer's test certificate is included in the device's box.

• Users wishing to perform ORP measurements need to additionally obtain a compatible HI3131B ORP electrode with the device.
