• Device Description: A compact-sized digital test device capable of measuring the pH value of meat and meat products.

• Tip Design: Thanks to its conical tip design, it can penetrate directly into meat and meat products.

• Measurement Principle: Precise and simple pH measurement can be performed with one button.

• Probe Sleeve: Removable and cleanable outer connection sleeve; measurement performance is enhanced by adding gel electrolyte.

• Suitability: Not suitable for frozen foods; used for solid and semi-solid meat products.

• Measurement Warning: A cavity should be opened first in hard meats; otherwise, the probe may break. Directly inserting the probe into frozen products may damage the device and void the warranty.

• Probe Material: Made of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF).

• Chemical Resistance: Food-grade plastic resistant to many chemicals and solvents, including sodium hypochlorite, is used.

• Cleaning Solution: Grease and protein residues are cleaned with the HI700630 cleaning solution; provides quick and effective cleaning.

• Probe Diagnosis: Gives an Err message when the probe needs cleaning during calibration and measurement.

• Probe Maintenance: Probe is soaked in cleaning solution for 20 minutes, rinsed with water before calibration, and moistened in HI9072 storage solution for at least 30 minutes.

• Calibration: Automatic one or two-point calibration; calibration buffers are automatically recognized and displayed on the screen.

• Temperature Compensation: Integrated temperature sensor automatically compensates for temperature changes between 0°C and 50°C.

• Automatic Shut-off: 8 and 60-minute automatic shut-off function; can be disabled if desired.

• Battery Type and Life: Operates with 1 CR2032 battery; offers approximately 1000 hours of battery life. Gives a warning in case of low battery.
