HOW TO MEASURE?

• Hold the refractometer by the body with the side where the sample is dropped facing the light.

• With the cover closed, align the binocular part of the device with your eye and try to read the value on the measurement table you see.

• If the values you see are not clear, you can adjust the focus by turning the adjustment ring on the binoculars to move the measurement table left or right.

Making the Zero Adjustment:

• First, open the prism cover and drop 1-2 drops of pure water on the inclined prism surface and slowly close the cover.

• Thus; a thin layer of water will remain between the prism surface and the cover.

• If the Dark-Light colored separation image seen around the 0 (zero) line of the measurement table is not visible;

• Rotate the Calibration Screw with the help of a screwdriver to align the Dark-Light separation with the zero line of the measurement table exactly.
