Notify me when its in stockLoyka beer brewing refractometer; are refractometers frequently used in the beer industry for fermentation tracking.
With the Loyka ATC featured beer refractometer, you can obtain information about the brix and SG (density) values of the liquid dropped on the prism part.
Loyka beer refractometer; is a binocular type measuring device that can measure brix of samples between 0% and 32%.
Additionally, this beer refractometer can measure the density of values between 1000 and 1130 SG wort.
The SG (Specific Gravity) mentioned here means density or "specific weight".
This refractometer device, which does not require any power source, is very easy to use.
To make the measurement results easier to read, ensure that the prism receives enough light.
The zero-setting and focus adjustment of the binoculars are done with the calibration liquid that comes with the device.
This refractometer device has an ATC feature. The ATC compensation range is 10°C....20°C.
The prism of the refractometer must be protected from impacts and scratches. You will always get clear results with a scratch-free prism.
For higher quality and clear results, the measurement prism should be cleaned with a soft cloth after each use.
Accessories that come with the refractometer include; calibration liquid, hard carrying case, small screwdriver for calibration adjustment, plastic dropper, cleaning cloth, and user manual.
HOW TO MEASURE?
Hold the refractometer by the body with the side where the sample is dropped facing the light.
With the cover closed, align the binocular part of the device with your eye and try to read the value on the measurement table you see.
If the values you see are not clear, you can adjust the focus by turning the adjustment ring on the binoculars to move the measurement table left or right.
Making the Zero Adjustment:
First, open the prism cover and drop 1-2 drops of pure water on the inclined prism surface and slowly close the cover.
Thus; a thin layer of water will remain between the prism surface and the cover.
If the Dark-Light colored separation image seen around the 0 (zero) line of the measurement table is not visible;
Rotate the Calibration Screw with the help of a screwdriver to align the Dark-Light separation with the zero line of the measurement table exactly.
