  • Thanks to its automatic zeroing feature, it detects leaks point-by-point.

  • When you turn on the device, the lights on it start flashing, which means the device is warming up to adapt to the environment where measurements will be taken.

  • When the lights go out, the device is ready for use.

  • While scanning with the Testo 316-3 refrigerant gas detection device, if it detects any leaks, it gives warnings both audibly and with increasing and decreasing lights on it.

  • The device has two different measurement modes, HI (High) and Low (Low). In HI mode, it performs more superficial measurements, while in Low mode, you can perform measurements that allow you to make more pinpoint detections regarding the leak.

  • The sensor of the Testo 316-3 refrigerant gas detector has a specific lifespan. Considering that 100 hours of measurement are performed, this corresponds to approximately 1 year. After this 1 year, you need to replace the sensor.

  • The hose to which the device's sensor is connected is a flexible hose.
