Designed to determine the composition of liquids and measure concentration and density.
Measures refractive index in the range of 1.3330 – 1.5040 with temperature compensation (nD20), and 1.3300 – 1.5080 without temperature compensation (nD).
Has the ability to convert refractive index to %Brix (0-85).
Provides more precise digital results compared to mechanical refractometers, eliminating uncertainty.
Requires calibration before each use; calibration is done by applying distilled water and pressing the "ZERO" button.
For sample measurement, use the pipette provided in the box to apply the sample to the prism surface and press the "READ" button.
The pipette should be washed with water between different samples.

Temperature compensation is done with the ATC (Automatic Temperature Control) feature.
If the temperature exceeds the range of 10-40 °C (50-104 °F), the ATC tag will blink, and temperature compensation will be disabled.
The glass prism can be cleaned with a dry cloth for new measurements.

Users are alerted to low battery status with BEPS (Battery Error Prevention System).
The device automatically turns off if no operation is performed for 3 minutes.
