The Testo 831 infrared thermometer measures temperatures between -30 and +210°C and features dual lasers.
The dual laser design allows easier targeting of the measurement area. The two laser points mark the diameter of the measurement circle where the surface temperature will be measured.
With an optical ratio of 30:1, the measurement spot diameter at 1 meter distance is only 3.6 cm.

The design of the thermometer is made for one-hand use. The temperature measurement starts quickly as soon as you press the trigger.
The Testo 831 infrared thermometer has maximum and minimum value memory. You can view these values by pressing the up arrow button.
If you press and hold the up arrow button while the device is off, you will access the settings panel.
In this section, you can enable both visual and audible alarms based on the device's highest and lowest temperature values.
You can turn on or off the high alarm function according to your preference.
Also, in this section, you can change the temperature unit between °C and °F.
While the device is on, if you press and hold the up arrow button, you can access the emissivity settings. The default emissivity setting is 0.95.
You can easily carry the device with the case included in the box.
With the down arrow icon, you can manually turn off the device. Also, if no measurement is performed for 1 minute while the device is on, it will automatically turn off.
