The HI1131B pH electrode uses a high-temperature (HT) glass, spherical bulb, glass body, single ceramic frit, double junction, and is refillable with 3.5M KCl solution.
High Temperature Glass Formulation: Measuring pH at very high temperatures can damage standard glass probes and shorten electrode life. The high-temperature glass withstands such conditions, providing longer probe lifespan.
Spherical Glass Tip: The spherical tip design offers a larger contact area with the sample, resulting in faster measurement response.
The electrode has a 1-meter cable length.
Refillable: The HI1131B is a refillable probe. As a double junction pH electrode, its filling solution is HI7082 3.5M KCl. This solution does not contain silver, unlike single junction electrodes. The absence of silver prevents silver deposits forming on the junction surface that could block it, which would otherwise cause drifting and unstable readings.
