Loyka 0-20 Brix Binocular Handheld Refractometer

  • The Loyka 0-20 brix binocular handheld refractometer device is a precise refractometer with a measurement range of 0...20 Brix. These refractometers are used to measure the brix value of low-density liquids.

  • The Loyka 0-20 brix refractometer is a binocular measurement device capable of measuring brix from 0% to 20% samples.

  • This refractometer device is very easy to use as it does not require any power source.

  • To ensure that measurement results can be read more easily, you need to make sure that the prism is receiving enough light.

  • With the calibration fluid that comes with the device, zero adjustment is made, and the focus adjustment is made from the binoculars viewed from there.

  • This refractometer device has an ATC feature. The ATC compensation range is 10°C....20°C.

  • The prism of the refractometer must be protected from shocks and scratches. You will always get clear results with a scratch-free prism.

  • For higher quality and clear results, the measurement prism should be cleaned with a soft cloth after each use.

  • The accessories that come with the refractometer include calibration fluid, a hard carrying case, a small screwdriver for calibration adjustments, a plastic dropper, a cleaning cloth, and a user manual.

    • In a solution weighing 100 grams with a 25°Bx value; it means there are 25 grams of sugar. In other words, in a 100-gram solution weighing 25°Bx, 25 grams are sugar, and 75 grams are water.

    HOW TO MEASURE?

    • Hold the refractometer by the body so that the side with the inclined prism where the sample is dripped is facing the light, and position the eyepiece of the device to your eye with the lid closed, and try to read the value on the measurement table you see.

    • If the values you see are not clear, you can adjust the focus by turning the adjustment ring right above the binoculars to move the measurement table to the left or right.

    Making the Zero Adjustment:

    • First, open the prism cover, drip 1-2 drops of pure water onto the inclined prism surface, and gently close the cover. Thus; a thin layer of water will remain between the prism surface and the cover.

    • If the dark-light separation image seen around the 0 (zero) line of the measurement table is not aligned; use a screwdriver to turn the calibration screw to align the dark-light separation exactly with the zero line of the measurement table.
