How to Use AZ 8361 Conductivity Meter?
There are 3 buttons on the device. These buttons are HLD, CAL, and SET.
MODE: It is the button to change the conductivity and TDS unit.
HLD/CAL: It is the button to perform the calibration process and freeze the value seen on the screen.
SET: It is the button for turning on/off and settings.
When you hold down the SET button, you enter the device's settings menu. In the settings menu, there are 4 settings menus from P 1.0 to P 4.0.
P 1.0: It is the menu for selecting the temperature unit (°C/ °F).
P 2.0: It is the TDS factor setting menu.
P 3.0: It is the menu for resetting device settings.
P 4.0: It is the calibration settings menu.
Measurement Process:
To make a measurement, press the power button of the device to turn it on.
Immerse the probe part of the device into the liquid to be measured and wait about 15-20 seconds for the measurement to stabilize.
When the value on the device's screen stabilizes, the measurement is complete.
For the device to measure accurately, it needs to be calibrated at regular intervals.
Calibration:
Press the OPEN button to turn on the device for calibration.
Pour enough of the liquid for calibration (Calibration liquids are 1413 uS and 12.88 mS liquids) into a container so that the probe can make contact.
First, place the device into the 1413 mS liquid and hold down the CAL button.
Using the up and down buttons (HLD and MODE buttons), set the value on the screen to the value written on the liquid to be calibrated.
After setting it to the correct value, press the SET button. Wait 5-10 seconds for the blinking uS text on the screen to stabilize. The device's calibration process is complete.
Remove the device from the liquid and dry the device's probe with a clean paper towel. Take care not to damage the device probe during drying.
