Notify me when its in stockThe Loyka 0-32 brix binocular handheld refractometer device is a precise refractometer with a measurement range of 0...32 Brix. These refractometers are generally used to measure the brix value of products like fruit juices, milk, carbonated drinks, etc., which are not very dense solutions.
The Loyka 0-32 brix refractometer is a binocular type measurement device capable of measuring brix of samples between 0% and 32%.
This refractometer is very easy to use and does not require any power source.
The materials you can measure with this refractometer include fruit juice, milk, carbonated drinks, etc.
To read the measurement results more comfortably, ensure that the prism receives enough light.
The zero setting and focus adjustment of the binocular are made with the calibration fluid that comes with the device.
This refractometer device has an ATC feature. The ATC compensation range is 10°C....20°C.
The prism of the refractometer should be protected from impacts and scratches. You will always obtain clear results with a scratch-free prism.
For higher quality and clearer results, the measurement prism should be cleaned with a soft cloth after each use.
The accessories that come with the refractometer include a calibration fluid, a hard carrying case, a small screwdriver for calibration adjustment, a plastic dropper, a cleaning cloth, and a user manual.
Common Sugar (°Bx) Values in the Measured Solution:
In a solution weighing 100 grams with a value of 25°Bx, it means there are 25 grams of sugar. In other words, in a 100-gram solution with 25°Bx, 25 grams are sugar and 75 grams are water.
HOW TO MEASURE?
Hold the refractometer by the body so that the side with the inclined prism where the sample is dropped faces the light, take it in your hand, and while the cover is closed, position the binocular section of the device to your eye and try to read the value on the measurement chart you see.
If the values you see are not clear, you can adjust the focus by turning the adjustment ring right above the binocular to move the measurement chart left or right.
Performing Zero Adjustment:
First, open the prism cover and drop 1-2 drops of pure water onto the inclined prism surface, then gently close the cover. This will leave a thin layer of water between the prism surface and the cover.
If the dark-light boundary seen around the 0 (zero) line of the measurement chart is not aligned, adjust it to coincide with the zero line of the measurement chart using a screwdriver to turn the calibration screw.
